This solution is ideal for organizations who have an existing mail setup and would like provide additional security to the existing mail server. Relay Servers can be set for organizations for:
  1. A Mithi Connect Relay Server can be setup as an additional security for an existing anti spam and antivirus server.
  2. A Relay Server can reload the task of mail scanning of the Mail Server.
  3. A Relay Server can prove to be an cost effective tool for SMTP level Virus and Spam Control.

  1. Considering that the Mithi Server would be the Mx1 of the organization, all incoming mails would be first scanned by the Mithi Relay Server.
  2. The Relay Server would then forward the mails to the existing antivirus and antispam server for further scanning or to the mail server.
  3. All the outgoing mails would also be scanned by the Mithi Relay Server before being sent out thus reducing the load on the Mail Server.
