Mail Flow
Incoming mail
The incoming mail will arrive at the ISP server where they will be received, scanned, and delivered to the catch all id or the individual mailboxes.
Outgoing mail
The users will configure their desktops to use the SMTP service on the ISP mail relay server.
Client access
End users will access their mailboxes on the ISP mail servers, using the web mail client or desktop clients such as Outlook/Outlook Express. The protocol used to access mail can be POP or IMAP.
Administration
User provisioning, user property configuration and domain management is done via a web based console.
Bill of Material
Domain registration.
One time setup and configuration of the domain on the hosted infrastructure.
Subscription to a pay per use plan for email hosting. This covers bandwidth and resource usage.
