What do you mean by Remote Management? How do you do it?

By remote management, we mean that our Support team accesses the server which is remotely located at customers premises via the Internet. We do a ssh connection to the server and using the login name and password gain access to the server. An ssh connection is a “Secured Share” connection which helps connecting to a remote server securely

Yes you can. Mithi will host the email for this domain on our servers and help you to authorize the necessary DNS entries for the domain in the registrars database. The domain renewal fees and the management will be done by you or your administrator.

What is Mail Parking? How does it work?

Mithi can offer the secondary mail hosting / mail parking (MX2) services for the customer's domain at Mithi Enterprise Messaging (MEM) facility, as Mithi has the requisite infrastructure with adequate redundancy at VSNL data centre in Pune. In case the in-house Relay/Mail Server at the customer's office is down or not reachable due to any connectivity or hardware failures, the mails from Internet will be forwarded to Mithi’s mail parking servers at the VSNL data centre to ensure that the mails are not bounced back or lost. When the in-house Relay/Mail Server comes up again, the mails on Mithi’s mail parking servers will be relayed back automatically to the Relay/Mail Server.
